Hide certain Products from Object Products for external sales people

Hello

We have some external sales who have access to Hubspot and who should be able to create deals.

However they should only be able to add products to those deals which they are entitled to.

They should not be able to see the other products from the Object Products

Anyone got a clue ?

I cannot find it in the permission sets.

@JVanpachtenbe Currently, this feature is not possible in the permissions setup. Products aren’t treated as core objects in the account the same way that deals are. So we can either have the rep access all products or none of the products.

I appreciate the response above. I just need to double check the options for the scenraio below. We are looking to restrict access to specifc deal offers. Is this possible in any way?

Makes sense! Introw (certified HubSpot app) is exactly solving this (out-of-the box & no-code).

Partners can create deals + add products all in sync with HubSpot.

On top of the synced catalog, you can control:

1. Product visibility (Partner segmentation)
Decide which partners can see which products based on:

• Partner type or experience (e.g. Reseller, Distributor)
• CRM properties like country, tier, or custom fields

Sync HubSpot product and add discounts

2. Pricing & discounts
You can apply:

• Partner-based discounts (e.g. a discount % stored on the partner record in HubSpot)
• Tier-based discounts (e.g. Bronze 10%, Gold 15%)
• Custom pricing (partners override pricing when needed)

From the partner’s perspective, they only see approved products, with the correct pricing pre-filled.
