Hello! I’m a recruiter for a small university and I’ve been using Hubspot to help track all my leads all the way through registration. All of my tracking is on a semester by semester basis, so I need to always know how many people I have lined up for each coming semester. I thought that the Deals feature would work, but I’ve found that it doesn’t allow me to progress each lead through individually and keep the group as a whole at the same time. Has anyone found a way to use the software to do what I’m trying to do?
Have you considered multiple deal pipelines? You could have a pipeline specific to Fall 2018 for example and track all potential students in that pipeline. If they decide hold off, but are still prospects for the following semester, you could move that deal from one pipeline to another.
This would require the use of Sales Pro to make happen, but if I understand your need, it should help.
If you only have one pipeline available, you can create a custom property that defines the specific semester. From there you can add a filter to see only the relevant prospect deals for that particular semester.
