How can I remove the header with navigation on my website? I used a template to build it and when I go into global content editor to try and remove it, it won’t let me. As you scroll down in the website , it’s there at the top (white bar), and makes my website look crammed

Any way to remove it?

Hi [@\_ilyas](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/703037),
Thank you for reaching out to the Community!
I’d like to ask clarifying questions please.
1. Is this a HubSpot website or an external one?
2. Which theme are you using?
3. You’d like to remove a global content (a header used on several pages), right?
4. Do you have a screenshot of when you tried to remove it?
5. Is there an error message? If yes, which one is it?
I found similar threads that might help you:

[@\_ilyas](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/703037) if you only want to remove from one page, the quickest way without editing the coded templates is to add this to the individual Page Head HTML:

```lia-code-sample
<style>
header {display:none;}
</style>
```

like this:

 ![Jnix284_0-1706884856874.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/2X/4/4a3c419e17853e74790d3f5d985c2efb37954ea2.png)

If you want to remove from all pages on the domain, then add it to Settings \> Websites \> Pages \> Templates \> Site Head HTML here:

 ![Jnix284_1-1706884910659.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/2X/a/af7744cece4be13bcaa518b9d4194074f5d9eceb.png)

Access to these settings will depend on your CMS/Marketing Subscription, if you’re using the Free CMS, you’d need to edit the template file directly.

You’d need to edit it via Design Tools (under Marketing \> Files and Templates) and if you’re using a marketplace theme, you’d have to be working with a child theme to make edits.

If you’re not a developer or you don’t have experience with code, it’d be a lot easier to do if you work with one.

Hi Jennifer,

I had a similar issue, but I want to keep my navigation menu and its headers visible. I only want to remove the h2 tags inside the header to be plain text for better sequencing. Any tips on how to resolve this? Want to apply it on all the pages on the domain.

Hi @07205 without more detail to know how your theme is configured, it’s not easy to recommend a solution based on the screenshot of your navigation alone. What theme are you using? How is your header navigation configured - via the module/header or advanced navigation? etc.

It would be better to post this as a new question so you can get help quicker than to reply to a thread that’s already solved

1. It’s a hubspot website

2. I’m using the Studio Launchpad theme

3. I only have one page on my website but yes, I want to remove the header that shows up as I scroll down; it shows up as a white bar which takes up a lot of space

4/5. When I’m in the global content editor, it doesn’t even give me the option to remove it…
