# Header background

Hi

I am new to this. I have to change the color of the header globally. It worked for the footer but somehow I can’t select anything at the top of the page.

This could be due to the design of your template. It may be easily found within your editor, or it may be in the source code of the design files. It’s difficult to say without diving into your exact hub.

The custom template we used had features locked. I started fresh with a different theme. All good now.
