# Having trouble with a workflow

Hi everyone, I’m fairly new to Hubspot. I’m sending an email with a form attached to it to my customers. I want to put those who filled out the form in a new list, and send reminders to those who ignored the email or didn’t fill/submit the list.

Should be fairly straightforward but I’m unable to get the latter part right. I’m able to list all those who filled the form, but I’m not receiving any reminders when I test out the other part (not filling form). Would love some help to get around this. Am I missing any steps or do I have incorrect ones?

Hi @AMaytor,

Has your test contact already submitted the form? If so, they will always go down the left branch.

By clicking _Details_ in the top left corner of the workflow editor you can go to an action log and see the exact steps your contact took through the workflow and why.

Hi, thanks a lot. That was very helpful. I’ve added the email to the workflow and have switched on to the workflow but it doesn’t seem to send the email. Skips straight to the delay. I get the reminder email but not the initial one.

Hi @AMaytor,

Your workflow only shows one email in action 3 – which first and second email are you referring to?
