I’ve noticed that a customer will add items to their shopping cart on Shopify and then a Deal will immediately get created in Hubspot. Great, awesome, but… if that customer removes an item from their cart before completing checking out, that item will not removed from the line items on the Deal and looks as if they purchased items that they have not. This is a problem because we have workflows set to send how to emails after certain products are purchased to help the customer get to know their new product and now customers are geting how to emails for products that they have never purchased.
Having the same issue. Would appreciate an update on the integration so that this no longer happens.
Hello, I’m the Product Manager for the Shopify integration to HubSpot.
Thank you for submitting this issue!
We released a fix last year wherein any updates(addition/deletion) on line items in Shopify Orders will be synced with the associated HubSpot Deal. So, you should ideally not be facing this discrepancy anymore. Please comment back here if this issue has been persisting and I’ll connect with you soon to learn more!
