Vacacions are approaching.
How do you handle lead distribution when a sales is away?
It seems quite time consuming to remove and add back sales, we have more than 50 sales in our team and it will most likely lead to errors.
Is there a way to mark a user as Away? So it could pause the workflows they are a part of.

This is a great question, and you’re not alone in wondering about this type of functionality. Unfortunately there is no native setting to get a rep to ‘away.’ One solution could be using a HubSpot app to accomplish this. I highly recommend Distributely as it allows you to do exactly what you’re looking to do and ensure that leads/deals/tickets don’t fall through the cracks and are assigned to someone else during that rep’s time away.

I couldn’t agree with this more. It is crazy that Hubspot doesn’t have the ability for a user or manager to set a profile to ‘away’ so that workflows don’t assign leads to someone who isn’t able to take them on. Removing people from complex workflows and re-adding them would be a full-time job on its own.

We use LeadAngel for lead distribution, which makes things easier when a sales rep is on vacation. You can set a fallback assignee, so if someone is away, their leads go to the queue owner, fallback person, or default owner—no need to manually remove and reassign! Hope that helps!
