Google Forms-Can you import just some information?

Hello! I’m looking to use a HIPAA compliant Google form to capture health information, but would like to save contact information in HubSpot. Is it possible (and still HIPAA compliant) to integrate the form and import just contact info if I’m saving the other info elsewhere? Or by integrating the form am I automatically giving Hubspot access to the info recorded in all of the fields on the Google form?

Thank you!

Hi @JBullen not offering legal advice here, but here is some guidance to help you make the best decision.

1 - make sure you’re setup to use Google forms to be HIPAA compliant:
Google Forms can be HIPAA compliant if an organization subscribes to an appropriate Google Workspace or Cloud identity package, signs Google’s Business Associate Addendum, configures Google Forms to comply with the technical safeguards of the Security Rule, and trains members of the workforce on the compliant use of the service.

2 - Capture and retain all of the information in your Google Workspace and export only the contact information you need in HubSpot so you can ensure only the necessary information is included when you import the contact data into HubSpot.

There isn’t a direct integration with Google Forms for HubSpot (it can be done with Zapier) but then you’d be giving Zapier access to all of the info even if it only brings a portion to HubSpot through the mapping.
