There is a fault in Goals within Sales Professional that prevents monthly goals/targets extending beyond the calendar year. Many businesses have financial year that does not align with calendar year (as in my case April to March). In common with many others, I plan my sales targets to align to the company financial year - so not being able to set a target for a full 12 months is a problem.
I would have though this is a basic, essential funstion, that Hubspot is currently deficient in. It works in other subscriptions, but Sales Professional it does not. Come on Hubspot - you can do better than that!
Same. Ours is July - June. It’s ver cumbersome to try to update reports + not being able to run a simple YTD report of Sales vs Goal EVER. Hubspot has said “adjust the reports dates” but that only works if reporting on Sales or 1 item at a time that does not include Goals. Because Goals are set monthly, I can never see Sales vs Goal accurately after January essentially.
Same here, ours is July-August and finding it very cumbersome when setting sales targets or accurately reporting for financial year- hope hubspot can sort this soon!
Our company’s fiscal year is April-March. We would like to take advantage of the goals setting in HubSpot, but it doesn’t seem to allow us to set goals based on our fiscal year (even when the fiscal year is set in the settings). We need to be able to create goals that align to our fiscal year, and we need to be able to report on goals and numbers based on fiscal year as well.
Additionally, an option for “yearly” goal also needs to be added to the goals feature. We do not have monthly or quarterly goals, but instead total fiscal year goals.
Hi, what! I am a new customer currently in onboarding (for Sales module), and just realized this flaw still exist. It is really cruicial for us to be able to set goals based on Fiscal years! Please fix this asap!
This is such a crazy flaw in the system. Especially considering that I can tell HubSpot what my financial year set up is but this does not pull through to the rest of the system. There are loads of ambigious uses of Quarter and Year where it should always be an option between calendar and financial.
If you ask Hubspot to make a manual change they can do this to force goals to align with whatever financial year you have. I have this in place and no longer have any issues.
