# Getting 400 Bad Request when fetching contacts

Hi Team,

Sometimes, we facing below error while trying to fetch contacts.

{“status\_code”:400,“response”:“Remote host terminated the handshake”}

API : GET - [https://api.hubapi.com/contacts/v1/lists/all/contacts/all](https://api.hubapi.com/contacts/v1/lists/all/contacts/all)

Could you please let us know the cause behind this error?

Hmmmm. I don’t know what is causing your specifc error (400 is a very general failiure) but I would suggest you switch to using the current version of the APIs (v3). [Accounts Dashboard | HubSpot](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/crm/contacts)
