Get monthly reports on total invoiced

We would also like to know how to get monthly reports on total invoiced. Our issue is that we don’t have recurring invoices. Our customers place orders at will, but I’d like to be able to see their spend as a whole over given periods of time that I designate -- 30D, 90D, 180D, 365D so we can prioritize marketing dollars.
