# Get email template via API

Quick question - is it possible to get (download) marketing email template via API (v2 or v3)?

To get an email template, your best bet is to use the CLI. Here is the [CLI Developer documentation](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/cms/developer-reference/local-development-cli).
