Hi, I have a list of companies and I would like to make a list of contacts from that company list is that possible (e.g five people are associated to a company - can I get those five people on a list and make anew contact list?

Yes, in a contact-based list, simply choose “Company” from the dropdown, then “List membership”:

@FSpångberg as long as you’re associating the Company to the Contact it’s as @karstenkoehler mentioned. Just a note that the Contact property (company name) isn’t the most reliable way, so Karsten’s list instructions are what I’d use when the associations are used.
