Free plan: website pages seem gone and my domain says it’s connected to another HubSpot account

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what happened to my website in HubSpot.

I’m on the Free plan,

and I recently got back into my portal through an old saved page edit link. The portal itself is there, but most of what I had before now seems to be missing.

What I’m seeing:

  • my old website content/pages seem gone
  • the HubSpot system domain is giving me a 404 when I try to view the site
  • when I try to connect my custom domain craftmosslav.co.uk HubSpot says it was already added by another HubSpot customer/account
  • the domain was renewed recently, so I’m not sure whether this is a DNS issue, an old account issue, or an inactivity/deactivation issue

What I’m trying to understand:

  1. Is there a way to recover or find old website pages if they seem to have disappeared?
  2. Does the error about the domain usually mean it is still attached to an older HubSpot portal?
  3. If the old portal was inactive or deleted, is there any way to get the domain released so I can connect it to my current portal?
  4. Has anyone dealt with this on a free account, where direct support isn’t available?

Any guidance would be really appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi @SNikolov ,

I believe this is something HubSpot may have to support on. @SamTassey anyway you could help with this?

Hey @SNikolov,
Also thanks for the tag, Josh! @JWingate2 is correct. This is likely something that would need to be dealt with internally, unless of course you can locate the any previous portal that may have had connected the domain to HubSpot. I’ve reached out to my team internally to see if there is any past usage - I will reach back out once I have any updates for you!
Thanks!

Hey @SNikolov,

Great news! I reached out to our internal team on this and you should be all set now. You may need to clear cache and try again, but please feel free to reach back out here if the issue persists or to confirm if you’re good to here!

Looking forward to your response!
