It would be a great addition to be able to give users read-only access to forms, so that they can view, but not edit, forms. We have similar permissions for lists and workflows, why not forms?
Yes, users can view some details about forms by creating a filter or a view, but that is tedious and not a great user experience. They want to be able to see the actual form, who submitted and when.
I am now forced to to give access to forms to people that I don’t want to give access to - not ideal.
Agreed - there is so much analytics data on the forms that I want everyone to have access to but I don’t them to have permission to edit or create forms themselves.
Agreeing with this one! For a service business we are managing, the only thing their maintenance floor needs to know is when there is a malfunction. There is now a form for this, but even with a workflow this is not managable (no marketing pro).
Ditto—We need certain users to be able to select forms for landing pages without them being able to edit and create new forms. Not having that option poses some serious risks to our data.
Ageed. Users must be able to view form submissions and related analytics to perform their roles. However, since forms update CRM data and have compliance implications, edit access must be controlled. We need to restrict who can edit while providing visibility into submissions and performance metrics for all users.
Agreed. I want to create reports and dashboards with statistics, and apparantely that is not an option unless the user can create and edit forms. Doesnt make any sense
Also, our users cannot see form submissions on their phones if we do not give them access to edit and create forms. We obviously do not want any user to be able to edit any form - but we want them to see the submissions.
My sales team asks for a submission form for an event, but cannot see the results directly!
I will not give the sales team access to create forms, cause it will be a mess. So this feature is really needed, so the results can be visible at least!
This would greatly improve things for our staff - forms are one of the only objects where there is no “view only” options. It’s been a real pain point for us. Why has this not been resolved yet?
We need this too. We have a small team creating the forms, but our stakeholders need access to view submissions and monitor progress for their forms. It’s a bummer that it requires a core seat and a tad dangerous as well. Would love to be able to have view-only access at minimum for Marketing/Forms.
Yes exactly! We have tons of folks who need to be able to see information without ever editing or touching it. Seems exactly like what a view-only seat should be for.
Hi everyone! My name is Hallie, and I’m a Program Manager on the CXM Team. I’m excited to share that this is on the roadmap! Once more details become available, we’ll share them here with you. Thank you for all of your patience and continued feedback!
