# Form Views not updated when submitting form through API

I’m using a custom form and submitting the data through API. However I’m not getting the form views count correctly.

I’ve tested both API endpoints (v2 and v3):

[https://forms.hubspot.com/uploads/form/v2/PORTAL\_ID/FORM\_ID](https://forms.hubspot.com/uploads/form/v2/PORTAL_ID/FORM_ID)

and

[https://api.hsforms.com/submissions/v3/integration/submit/PORTAL\_ID/FORM\_ID](https://api.hsforms.com/submissions/v3/integration/submit/PORTAL_ID/FORM_ID)

I’ve included the cookie token in both request and the form views are still not updated.

Is this thing even working?

Hi, @DMihaylov 👋 Can you provide more details? The Form endpoints themselves are functional and supported. But without more details, it is likely the community will not be able to assist.

Questions:

- Are the form submissions tracking? Or is it that both submissions and views are not working as expected?
- Is it working for you specifically? But not for some of your contacts? Or is it not working at all?
- Can you link to a page where the form lives? Or post, using a code block, an example form request? So the community can see how you’ve set things up?

Hi Jaycee!

Thank you for your response! I already spoke with Lorena Demarco from HubSpot’s support. It seems that there is no way to update form views count when one is using the API.
