# Form Validation

Why am i not getting an error when I try to submit a hubspot form using [https://api.hsforms.com/submissions/v3/integration/submit](https://api.hsforms.com/submissions/v3/integration/submit) with invalid email. The response is The form is submitted but the contact is not created. How can I catch such an error?

Hey, @Ocomua 👋 I am getting a similar non-error response. Can you share your request body?

For my test, I sent an email address of random character and one using only “m” and it gave me the response of

```lia-code-sample
{
 "inlineMessage": "Thanks for submitting the form."
}

```

Request body example I used

```lia-code-sample
{
 "fields": [
 {
 "objectTypeId": "0-1",
 "name": "email",
 "value": "m"
 },
 {
 "objectTypeId": "0-1",
 "name": "multi_2",
 "value": "D"
 }
 ]
}

```

Please note, there will be a delay in response due to HubSpot’s Week of Rest which runs July 1-5.

This is a bug! I’ve verified this with both the authenticated and unauthenticated form endpoints, as well as making the email field required/not.

[@Jaycee\_Lewis](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/127074) hopefully we can get this elevated to the stand by team!
