Form Not Working

We have a contact form on our website, but it has stopped working - if someone adds a request for further information it breaks the form?

Hi @AGott2,

Can you please share more details? Do you have a screenshot? What exactly do you mean when you say “break”?

Best regards

When someone requests a quotation it should send us an email and the form change for the client as per below:

But if the client has been adding information to the ‘how can I help box’ the form is not transmitting correctly either not sending at all or not sending the client the message to say that we have received their enquiry?

Hey @AGott2 can you confirm how you’ve added these forms to your site? These really don’t look like HubSpot forms at all, so my hunch is that these are third party forms that are integrated with HubSpot or they’re highly customised HubSpot forms which would lead to the custom JS causing these issues.

Hi Tom

Yes it is a bespoke form, but these have always worked previously?

Hey @AGott2 the features you’re experiencing issues with would be a part of the custom code used to create the form and wouldn’t be provided by HubSpot (and likely completely unrelated to HubSpot). The best way to troubleshoot this would be to contact the developer who built this custom form to find out why this has stopped working suddently, likely there has been some code removed or changed.

Hi Karsten

I did post pictures of the example - below is an image of the form, when you press ‘get my quote’ the screen should change to ‘thank you for your valued enquiry’ unfortunately nothing now happens it stays the same? Additionally it keeps pre-populating with the details as well?

This is what it should look like:
