Hi there!

I am using a non-hubspot form on my site.

When I go to “Actions \> Details”, the name of the contact appears to be the same on all form submisions, taking into account the name of the last form contact name submission. So, for example, If I submitted the form three times with the following names:

1. John

2. Elvis

3. Megan

The contact name is “Megan” for the three of them. Please, see image attached.

Hi @bsastre ,

Thank you for your post!

Have you submitted those 3 forms from a same browser? If so, this should be due to the browser cookie.

1. John submits the form \> HubSpot creates John’s contact record
2. Elvis submits the form from the same browser as John \> HubSpot recognizes those submissions come from the same browser, then John’s contact record will be overwritten with Elvis’ information

Knowledge base: [Track visitors in HubSpot](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account/how-does-hubspot-track-visitors)

- _Since cookies are unique to a browser, if two people share a single computer, their submissions will be associated with the same contact record. This [deduplication by cookie](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/articles/kcs_article/contacts/how-does-hubspot-deduplicate-contacts) ensures that if a contact submits forms on your website using different email addresses, all submissions are associated with a single contact record in HubSpot._
