Footer based on contact property needed - Is there a way to implement this?

Hi all,

We have a variety of business entities and are therefore in need of multiple footers.
I am looking for a solution with which I can send the same marketing emails (automated as well as regular emails) with multiple footers to an audience but only 1 footer is shown to the recipient and the footer which is shown should be based on the specific information of the recipient’s property (which of our business entitiies they were attributed to).
Is there any solution currently available which would help me achieve this?

Thank you for your input on this!

Lisa

Hi @LisaMaudrich,

Which information exactly should be different in these footers? The address (company information) or accompanying non-company info?

In general, multiple footers with different addresses require a Marketing Hub Enterprise subscription: Edit email footer addresses

(There is no way around that.)

If you’re okay with always showing the same main address and then append different additional information (a second address for example), then you could build add a text block with the required company footer tokens and make it smart: Create and manage smart content rules

Your rules would be enforced through active lists and smart content.

Once you share more context, I can elaborate.

Best regards!

Hi @karstenkoehler ,

Thank you for your quick reply.

We would like to make sure our customers receive the footer of the company they signed with. We do have customers who all speak English and are to receive the same mail but which are signed with different companys (which is a property value on contact level for us).
Will we be able, by using smart rules, to switch between footer modules based on property values then (e.g. US customer and UK customer get the same marketing mail but with different footers shown)?
Kind regards,

Lisa

@LisaMaudrich no, as far as I know, this is not possible.

  • Different office addresses require Marketing Hub Enterprise.
  • They pull from the address tokens, not from custom properties.
  • They cannot be made conditional within one email, you need one email per address.

Thank you @karstenkoehler - not necessarily what I hoped for, but we’ll have to manage. :slightly_smiling_face:
