# Finding location with filter tool.

Hi, All

I recently started at a new workplace and one of my primary tasks is to take control of and operate the CRM system here. It was created by a third party company and I have been given super admin privileges on the account to make the system my own.

After a discussion with senior management, we’d thought it best to arrange our potential customers.

- Client type - Commercial or Domestic.
- Location - UK, IRE, R.O.W, NA, and EU with plans to add additional views for India later down the road.

This would be great, however, we are not given the location from our initial interest forms, if possible. I had thought about using phone numbers to try and sort into the location, for example, +44 for the UK and +1 for NA for the commercial and domestic split I have been using email domains / associated company to filter this.

I am 100% open to alternatives to my ways of filtration as I am new to the HubSpot platform, any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi @Benn784Cud ,

I do something similar and think the phone numbers could be very helpful. I also know there is an Internal HubSpot property you can filter off of called “IP Country.” Not everyone will have this field filled out, yet could be added in addition to the phone numbers.
