Find all contacts that had a deal associated in the past

Hi! We recently did a thorough pipeline cleanup, which involved deleting quite a lot of deals.

Now I wanted to create a list of all contacts that had a deal associated in the past — to change back a few properties.

My approach was utilizing the “first deal created date” (=known) contact property in combination with “associated deals” (=0 / unknown), but I quickly noticed that apparently, the “first deal created date” one gets cleared when you delete the deal.

Did someone run into the same issue? Is there another way I could try?

Hi @timbremer,

I was able to populate a list of contacts based on these criteria using an active list. Here are the filters I used.

Thanks for your reply — seems like this worked! I initially tried something similar, but my mistake was to do it in the contact database view, not as a list. And there apparently the “has ever been equal to” option is not available :slightly_smiling_face:
