Finally, revenue lives where work happens

Finally, revenue lives where work happens

For years, the conversation about managing the revenue lifecycle in HubSpot looked something like this: close the deal in CRM, hand off to someone with a spreadsheet, hope the billing got set up correctly, wonder why the numbers look different every quarter, repeat.

Today, with the launch of Revenue Hub, we’re officially closing the chapter on that era.

Commerce Hub has evolved into Revenue Hub

Commerce Hub is now Revenue Hub. This isn’t just a rename — it’s the culmination of where we’ve been headed since day one of building CPQ, billing, and payments inside HubSpot.

Commerce Hub was built to help teams transact. Revenue Hub is built to help teams manage the full revenue lifecycle: from the first quote to the first payment, through renewals, expansions, collections, and revenue reporting — all in one system, all connected, all in HubSpot.

The vision: a world where revenue lives where work happens. Where sales, finance, and CS are all operating from the same source of truth. Where “What’s our MRR right now?” has an answer that doesn’t require a three-day spreadsheet build.

Here’s what that lifecycle looks like in practice: Lead → Deal → Quote → Order → Contract → Bill → Collect → Renew → Upsell. Revenue Hub connects every single step of that chain — and it does it without making you leave your CRM.

What’s launching today

“This full cycle visibility has been our vision — love that we are delivering it.” — Yamini Rangan, CEO

Connected CPQ, Billing & Payments (Public Beta)

This is the headline release. Connected CPQ, Billing & Payments is a new, end-to-end quote-to-cash experience that automates billing, accelerates payment collection, and eliminates the manual hand-offs that slow revenue down after a deal closes.

Watch the demo

Here’s how it works: when a buyer accepts a quote, a Contract is automatically created as the source of record. The contract knows everything that was on the quote — the products, the terms, the pricing. A Billing Schedule is automatically generated from the contract, so every invoice that needs to go out is visible in one place, tied to the right schedule. The buyer can set up payment at the moment of acceptance — no chasing, no separate onboarding.

“What was on the quote is on the contract. What’s on the contract is on the billing schedule. What’s on the billing schedule is in the report.” That’s not marketing copy — that’s the design principle.

What this unlocks for your team:

  • Shorter payment collection cycles. Buyers can set up payment the moment they accept a quote, collapsing the gap between “signed” and “paid.”

  • Automated billing. Recurring invoices generate automatically from the contract’s billing schedule — no manual invoice creation, no missed billing cycles.

  • Revenue predictability. With every contract’s billing schedule in one place, you can see exactly what’s coming in and when.

  • Structured financial documentation. Invoice history tied to contracts supports revenue recognition, accounting, and audit requirements.

  • Flexible billing schedules. A single quote can generate multiple, differently-timed payable invoices.

“We’ve been doing everything manually — so for us, it’s already a big step forward to add it in the quote and have it automatically impact the contract, the MRR, the invoices.” — Erik, beta customer

A few things to know before enrolling: Invoices generated from Contract billing schedules cannot be edited after creation. Recurring billing in the connected flow cannot be paused or resumed. If you have published-but-not-accepted quotes and want them to follow the new flow after opt-in, recall and republish them.

Revenue Hub Pro and Enterprise customers can enroll in the beta in their portal settings.

MRR Revenue Reporting (Public Beta)

Revenue conversations deserve revenue-grade data. The new MRR waterfall report gives you a real-time view of your recurring revenue — booked MRR, expanded MRR, churned MRR, net new — pulled directly from your contracts and billing schedules. No more manual calculation. No more “this was already wrong by the time I finished building it.”

More releases for connected revenue

Breeze Invoice Prioritization (Public Beta)

Breeze Invoice Prioritization analyzes your entire overdue invoice portfolio — by risk level, age, and customer value — and surfaces a prioritized list of exactly who your team should contact, and why. Instead of starting the day with a flat list sorted by due date, finance teams get AI-driven recommendations that focus effort where it will recover revenue fastest.

Get Paid through Customer Agent with Payment Links (Public Beta)

Two new Revenue-specific actions for Customer Agent bring payment directly into whatever channel your buyers are already in — no redirects, no manual follow-up.

Watch the demo

Find Invoices lets the agent look up a buyer’s invoices in any status, explain what they’re being charged for, and share a secure checkout link — all inside the same chat, email, or messaging thread.

Send Payment Links lets the agent deliver a payment link inline the moment a buyer is ready to transact. Admins control which payment links the agent is authorized to use.

The practical effect: a buyer asks a billing question, the agent answers it and closes the loop with a payment link, and the invoice gets paid in the same conversation. No handoff, no friction, no open tab that goes nowhere.

Billing Portal (Public Beta)

The new Billing Portal is a secure, self-serve portal where your buyers can manage everything related to their billing — without needing to reach out to your team. They can log in to view current and past invoices, pay outstanding balances on the spot, download invoices as PDFs, update their stored payment methods, and manage or cancel subscriptions based on rules you define.

On the seller side, you control exactly how it works: set up an access group, decide whether buyers can self-cancel or just request cancellation (which flags a churn risk back to your team), and configure the experience in Settings → Tools → Portals → Billing. A link to the portal is automatically included in every buyer-facing receipt email — no extra setup required.

The result is fewer “can you resend my invoice?” emails to your CS team, less manual collections chasing for AR, and a payment experience that meets buyers where they expect to be met in 2026.

The connected story

Here’s what makes Revenue Hub different from adding features one at a time: every piece connects to every other piece.

Your sales rep builds a quote using rules-compliant pricing or your price book. The buyer accepts and sets up payment in the same flow. A contract is created automatically. The billing schedule fires on time, every time. Your RevOps team sees MRR move in real time. Your CS team creates a change quote when the customer expands, and the contract and billing schedule update automatically. Your AR team uses Breeze to prioritize overdue invoices and the Payments Agent to follow up based on buyer commitments. Your accountant maps the customer to QuickBooks without a CSV export.

That’s not a vision for someday. That’s what Revenue Hub Pro and Enterprise customers can start building today.

“You have to have one source of truth — and we’ve committed to HubSpot.” — Private beta user

Upmarket CPQ: Quote Rules & Custom-Coded Modules

The CPQ layer is getting a significant upgrade, too. Quote Rules enforce pricing logic automatically, so reps don’t have to remember which discounts are allowed for which segments. Custom-Coded Quote Modules (GA) let you build any quote experience you need — fully tailored, fully branded.

These capabilities are built for teams scaling up CPQ complexity without scaling up manual oversight.

NEW: Lock and hide quote template modules — no more unauthorized edits (Live!)

Admins on Commerce Hub Professional and Enterprise can now lock and hide specific modules directly within quote templates, preventing reps from editing those sections when they create individual quotes.

Why this matters: As teams grow and quote templates get more sophisticated, the gap between what an admin configures and what a buyer actually sees has been real friction. Legal terms get tweaked. Brand copy gets “personalized.” Pricing language gets softened. With module locking, what you build in the template is what goes to the customer — every time.
