Hello Hubspot,
All the sudden, as a result of the new “upgrades” to the reporting and filtering, you can no longer filter on “contains.” Instead this NEW FEATURE limits the filtering to exact matching or not exact matching. Who here is in favor of downgrading the filtering say migrate!
Please bring this back!

The behavior of the “contains exactly” and “doesn’t contain exactly” filter option makes no sense. The user experience behavior indicates that you cannot use these (red circle and line). In my experience, the user MUST include an asterisk first in order to invoke using one of these filter options. That is not at all intuitive.
I’m unable to work out how to filter for rows that contain a single ’ (e.g., Hawke’s Bay).

Did you ever get an answer for this? I’m trying to match dates like 2021-05-01 and it isn’t matching the “-” in the field. How do you escape it? I’ve also tried the above.
Hi Frank, how do I search for “my exact product name”
I’m guessing “my AND exact AND product AND name” would work?
I suggest renaming this operator to “contains” since it could be any of, exactly, matches and lots of other words that do not mean ‘exactly’
