This kind of thing really frustrates me with HubSpot… the options for filtering change across Reports, Segments, Views. In this case, the calculated property returns the value in a unit of months.. which is what I want.. but months isn’t a unit in the filter, and because the amount of time in a unit of month is inconsistent I can’t use any of the others.

Hey @ScottMoyse - thanks so much for posting in the Community!
As I can definitely understand the frustration here, I highly encourage you to post your ideas for how we can improve our filtering options in our Ideas Forum. This would allow other customer to upvote your idea and act as a direct line of communication to our Products Team!

Hi @ScottMoyse
What is the actual output of the calculated property?
If it is a simple number than there should be standard number operators, e.g. greater than, equal, less than, etc.
Based on the filters on your screenshot, it looks like the calculation output is set to date & time property instead.
Frank
The output is a Number with duration formatting. I’ve since canned the property, changed the expression to use Year and Month counts, so I only ever get round integers (and unformatted 'formatting) as results and can now just filter based on the available integer filters. It just **bleep** there is no month unit in that drop down when all the other calendar units are there.

I would assume that’s because there is a definitive length to seconds, minutes, hours, days, and years – but not to months (either 28, 29, 30 or 31 days). If you’re forced to think about which month duration you’d like to apply, you’ll get the right result by doing the math. If HubSpot makes that assumption for you, there is a good chance the result is not meeting your expectations.
Years aren’t a definitive length either because of leap years.
@ScottMoyse of course there are – but when people refer to a year, they’re typically referring to 365 days, and not to leap years, or the average year length.
I’m not going to argue on behalf of HubSpot, just providing a possible explanation as to why months were omitted.
