I would like the ability to add an assocaition table card to my Companies record screen AND be able to have that assocation table filtered based on an association label by default.
Currently when you add an assocation table card, you can filter by any company property however you cannot filter based on assocation labels.
I have a pair of company association labels created “Third Party” and “Customer”. On each Company record page i’d like to display an assocation table card for each of these labels (ie. one card for associated Third Party companies, and the other for associated Customer companies.
I can achieve the same thing by using the Association Label List card, however this is not a good solution for a longer list of associated records.
- Create an Association Table card, which shows me associated records with a fixed set of properties that are editable inline. This is great, but: the Association label filter is editable by the end user, and not set upon record load. So it will show all associated records unless the user selects a filter. That’s chaos as soon as you have 10+ associated records. I want to set this filter on admin level and alwaysonly show the records with that specific Association label, no editing options by the user.
- Create an Association card with associated records grouped by predefined labels. This one only lists associated records with the predefined and uneditable labels, which is perfect. But then it only shows name and email and I can’t choose any other properties. Also it’s not a neat table.
I feel like neither of these is very useful on its own. Combine the functionality and suddenly it becomes much more versatile.
Hi all! I’m Kristen, Senior Product Manager on HubSpot’s CRM Records team. Excited to share that this feature has been delivered to all customers — you can now filter by association labels within the association table card, and your filters will persist on page reload.
