Filter a dynamic list of duplicate entries

Hi

I have created a list that is dynamic. Based on certain deal criteria. Except, some contacts have bought more then one item, and I only need to send my email once. For example:

John Smith bought a pen his email address is john@xxxxx

John smith bought a ruler his email address is john@xxxx

John Smith bought a phone his email address is John@xxxx

I only want the email being sent (this is being created in marketing department) to go once and not three times. How can I filter his entry to one instead of three times

So I assume you created a deal list?

Why not create a contact list and filter across the deal object? That way a contact will only appear once even though they may have multiple closed won deals.
