Hi @SmartListGhost,

HubSpot file reporting isn’t very strong (as you can see [here](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Reporting-on-Files/idi-p/499950)). The biggest benefit of hosting files on HubSpot is the convenience. When adding a file download link to an email, you can browse files right there and don’t have to leave HubSpot (if the file was previously uploaded to the HubSpot file manager).

You can and other users get access to the file manager and you can specify visibility, folder structure and replace files while keeping their URLs: [Upload files to use in your HubSpot content](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/files/upload-files-to-use-in-your-hubspot-content)

This is of course not exclusive to HubSpot and you could as well use a third-party hosting solution. It’s really just nice to have it in one place.

Best regards!
