File Format isn't Supported

I’m trying to upload an excel spreadsheet into my contact list and i keep getting this error message,

"Something went wrong when processing your file.

This file format isn’t supported."

I checked the help page and all my properties are unique. I don’t undertand why it won’t upload.

Have you tried saving your import file in another format, for example csv?
