I would like to find software that can show on a map the location of our companies, contacts, deals, prospects, etc. to aid our field sales people.

Under Settings > Product updates > All, you might see a private beta for “Map Visualization for CRM Index Pages” which is currently labeled as an Enterprise feature. (Since this is still in private beta, I won’t share the specifics here.)
