Hi,
I’m developing an Hubspot app.
The app has an endpoint that is being triggered each time a call finished. The endpoint gets the callId from the workflow.
I want my API to download the call recording from hubspot in order to analyze it.
How can I download the recording video over API call?

Hi @OMoshe,

The recording of a call is stored in a property called “hs\_call\_recording\_url”. You can retrieve this by calling [GET /crm/v3/objects/calls?properties=hs\_call\_recording\_url](https://developers.hubspot.com/beta-docs/reference/api/crm/engagements/calls#get-%2Fcrm%2Fv3%2Fobjects%2Fcalls).

For example:

```lia-code-sample
GET https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/calls?properties=hs_call_recording_url
RESPONSE
{
 "results": [
 {
 "id": "31995747272",
 "properties": {
 "hs_call_recording_url": "https://api.twilio.com/2010-04-01/Accounts/AC890b8e6fbe0d989bb9158e26046a8dde/Recordings/RE3079ac919116b2d22",
 "hs_createdate": "2024-08-29T07:47:31.162Z",
 "hs_lastmodifieddate": "2024-08-29T07:47:31.769Z",
 "hs_object_id": "31995747272"
 },
 "createdAt": "2024-08-29T07:47:31.162Z",
 "updatedAt": "2024-08-29T07:47:31.769Z",
 "archived": false
 }
 ]
}
```

This [documentation](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/crm/calls) might also be helpful in better understanding how to interface with the Call object.

I hope this helps!

Jack

Hi Jack,
Thank you for the answer.
I have 2 issues with that solution:
1. I’ve been informed that the “hs\_call\_recording\_url” field will be deprecated on Sep 30th.
2. This url is not authenticacted, and in order to download the video I need another authentication with the recording provider (zoom / twilio etc..). How can I overcome this?
Thanks,

Hello !

I have the same problem. I don’t want just the URL [https://api-na1.hubspot.com/recording/auth/provider/hublets/v1/external-url-retriever/getAuthRecording/portal/5119927/engagement](https://api-na1.hubspot.com/recording/auth/provider/hublets/v1/external-url-retriever/getAuthRecording/portal/5119927/engagement) but an URL or a solution to download directly the .WAV.

Is there and answer to this problem ?

Thank you !
