It would be nice to have the option to either manually “refresh” or “run” the manage duplicates tool instead of having to wait for the “calculation date” to arrive. Either manually being able to run the duplication tool or being able to change the frequency in which it calculates would be nice.
Great idea, especially useful in the early days when an organisation has just started using HS and people are still getting used to everything, there seems to be duplicates appearing more frequently so it would be great to have the ability to run the process manually to clean the duplicates up.
While it’s not yet possible to manually refresh the duplicate records as needed, there is a workaround that uses coded workflows(available in Operation Hub Professional). You can find more details here
It’s not only a great idea to make a terrific service better, it’s really necessary at this point. We have a client who inadvertenly imported companies in a manner which produced 6000 duplicate company records, so under the HubSpot “smile & wait” approach, it will be a month or longer until their dupes are cleared out unless we take the action suggested below with the Github solution. HubSpot, please make this a whole lot easier.
It’s necessary also because if the past calculation didnt’ find duplicates (and maybe it has occured 10 days ago) I don’t have the chance to select properties on which make the calculation. So as an example now I’m setting up workflows and cannot check if everything is running fine.
Please think about run manually and select the properties even if no duplicates have been found in the last calculation.

Yes, that would be really good if you could trigger the Proccess manual.
At least give us a couple options if it can’t be “manually” run. Like every week, every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks etc. Or let us run it manually =).
We have a lot of issues with potential leads submitting web forms using their personal email address or using a different spelling for the company name. This means we spend a lot of time checking manually for duplicates which is so disappointing in a system that has so many supportive tools. Please provide a solution for this so we can work more effectively.

Since this post is already from 2020, I have little hope that the function will still be developed. But being able to manually “run” the check would be really useful! Waiting until night for a new check, only to find out afterwards that you have checked for the wrong properties is very annoying and time consuming. I think this feature would be really useful.
