I’m using Facebook lead ads and lead forms. With lead forms I’ve got submissions synced to hubspot. I also have an automation on the specific ad to send an email to conversions.
im having an issue that the emails are not sending because i get a message that the lead hasn’t subscribed.
how do i set it so that i can send the lead an automated email to get the lead magnet they converted on the form for ?
Can you share the screenshot of the automation you have set and the message you are getting?
This usually happens when the recipient has previously unsubscribed from all your email subscription types

These are net new conversions. Never before in our lists. We are targeting new leads n none have interacted before
Okay, also one more question have you set all these contacts as marketing Contacts to send them marketing emails? if not please set the contacts as marketing contacts to whom you want to send the emails and then retry to send them marketing emails.
Can I set them as marketing contacts globally? So far we’ve been doing it manually because things haven’t worked with this automation

Found the solution. This HubSpot instance for this particular client had an EU server, where the GDPR settings were stricker. I had to manage the Data Privacy settings to make sure to allow us to send messages to people when they converted on a lead form from FB as a legitamate interactions
