Fall Spotlight 2026: new AI building tools + a Build with AI docs section

Our team has spent a lot of time thinking about how people actually get started building with AI on HubSpot, where the confusing parts are, and what would help you get from an idea to something working a little faster.

For Fall Spotlight 2026, we’ve brought the latest developer and builder updates together in one place, plus we’ve put together a new Build with AI docs section that walks you through the tools, setup, and the things we think will be most useful as you start building.

To get started with the big picture, check out the Fall 2026 Spotlight developer page showcasing updates on HubSpot’s latest AI-assisted building tools, the expanded HubSpot MCP server, the Agent CLI, new app governance controls, date-based API versioning, and links to the docs for all of it. If you’re trying to understand what’s new and where to start, begin there.

Then, head to the Build with AI docs when you’re ready to try something. The team built this section to get you moving quickly, with setup guidance, best practices, and example prompts you can copy, run, pull apart, and adapt for whatever you’re working on.

You don’t need to already think of yourself as a developer to start. You’ll get better results as you understand more of HubSpot’s building blocks and get more comfortable with code, but that comes with practice, and the docs are designed to help you learn as you build. If you’ve already built on HubSpot, they’re also a useful reference for seeing how all the AI tooling fits together.

A lot of care went into this, and we’d really like to know how it works for you. What are you building? What’s clicking? Where are you getting stuck?

Drop it in the replies. Those questions and examples help the team see what we should explain, improve, or document next.
