How can I distinguish between fake clicks and opens and real clicks and opens on sequenced sales emails?

Hi @CReyes91,

HubSpot filters out not activity: [Understand HubSpot Sales email open and click tracking | Knowledge Base](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/connected-email/understand-hubspot-sales-email-open-and-click-tracking)

“HubSpot will not generate open or click events for sales emails when the interaction comes from a non-human source, such as bot activity.”

Best regards

We reviewed this activity and it appears similar to a robotic spam filter or something. All opens and clicks are happening the same minute the email was sent, including multiple opens/clicks and documents are opened for 0:00.

@CReyes91 if your convinced that it can’t be human activity, you could flag it with HubSpot support in-app I chat or email.

In general, as per the documentation, HubSpot will attempt to filter it out. It’s likely a cat and mouse game however and not all bot engagement can be detected reliably. When it isn’t, HubSpot can’t flag it as such either.
