Failing creating a landing page from a custom coded template imported from another account

Hello all!
I have created a custom coded template from a account with Marketing Pro + plan and then transferred this template on another account with a starter plan. The issue is that when trying to use this template the account with starter plan does not give me the opportunity to use it. Is this related to the starter plan? Because I already know that they cannot create the custom coded template, but I thought they could at least use the one created from someone else and then transferred to them.

Thank you

Hi @SFabrin it is likely due to the fact that the template includes an option to add CTAs, which aren’t available in Starter so it locks the template down.

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for your support.

How can I find out if there is an option to add CTAs? sorry I am a newbie to this.

I just created a HTML file for a test without including any custom feature.

Thank you!

@SFabrin this is really interesting, the relatively blank template shouldn’t trigger an issue.

The file shows it is available for new content, so that shouldn’t be the issue.

How do you have the template file in the directory?

When you open it to use in the account you created it in, what steps are you taking?

Hi, I actually asked support and they finally told me that the problem occurs because the account of the customer who is trying to use the template I shared with them, has a starter subscription, and who has this subscription can’t use the custom templates. So they told me, I don’t know if you have any other information about this or if you have already experienced this problem. If so, maybe you can tell me how you overcame it?
