# Failed to Create Custom object schema through API

I created an app in HubSpot and would like to create custom object schemas. However, I don’t see write permissions in the available scope list. As a result, when I try to create the custom object schema using API endpoint:[https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/schemas](https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/schemas) , I receive the following error: 403 Forbidden: [{“status”:“error”,“message”:“The scope needed for this API call isn’t available for public use. @RM80 - is the ‘create’ API you are looking for at [https://api.hubapi.com/crm-object-schemas/v3/schemas](https://api.hubapi.com/crm-object-schemas/v3/schemas) ?

I see a read and write option in scopes available - but I know this is restricted to certain Enterprise hubs, so perhaps this is the issue you are hitting?

Yes Steve, I have used these two apis,
