extend the Hubspot users table

Hi,

Today when you set a user in Hubspot you can set the teams he belongs to and set his permission set.

is there a way to extend this schema with oher properties such as the Geo, the type (ie. sales, mktg, supprt, etc…)… how create properties on the user DB?

Hi @mzebib68,

There currently isn’t any feature or option to add additional user properties. What you see is what’s available.

I can’t believe I’m the only one asking to extend this model…

I’m investigating in the creation of a custom object but I’m not sure this is the right path to follow.

I want to be able to create report on my deals based on the owner’s type or region.

I’d recommend storing this information on the deal itself, not attempting to create a user object and reporting on this by attempted association. If storing this information on the deal is not an option, could you please elaborate why?

I’ve more than 70 users that can have deals.

I can set a workflow to intitate the property for the 70 current one … it will be long but let say it worth it.
if I need to add a new seller then I need to alter this WF, etc…

Getting this automated when you create the user is what drove my question
