Extend Property 'Usage' to include properties used as personalisation tokens in message templates

Property ‘Usage’ is a great tool for CRM Managers / Super Admins to identify where properties are being used across the software.

However, it’s missing usage where the property is ued as a personalisation token in an email message template.

If you have to replace a property, you need to check everywhere it’s being used and replace it in those assets. Unfortunately, because message templates are not included in the property ‘usage’ tool, these can easily be missed. You have to rely on checking each template individually for the property that needs replacing.

This is so important. As a HubSpot admin, doing my best to ensure data and system architecture hygiene, archiving/deleting properties that are not being actively used is part of that maintenance. If message templates are not listed as assets where a property is being used, without contextual knowledge of the templates, it’s easy to remove these properties, causing the template to “break”.
