In our system, sample requests are created as deals. Once the deal is submitted to the fulfillment manager she needs a way to export the specifics of the deal to PDF or Word so she can get the specifics (product, quantity, shipping address, etc.) to our warehouse staff to process the shipment.

This is not possible natively within HubSpot but could be achieved with external automation solutions like Zapier and Documentero: Zapier Document Generation - Create Word / PDF Documents - Documents Automation Blog
In this case, the trigger would be:
You could then follow the steps from the Documentero link to get the information into a Word file.
There are also easier automations which could work directly from HubSpot, e.g. pushing Deals into a Google Sheet.

We created a new app, which is now available in the HubSpot marketplace. With ChiliDocs you are able to gernerate Word or PDF documents with a click out of a deal. All associated objects and properties are available so you can draft nice reports, quotes, presentations and a lot more. Check it out and let me know what you think.
