Export contacts with information about non-Primary associated companies

I need to export all contacts who are associated with more than 1 company in Hubspot, and also be able to export company-level information (in this case, Company ID) for all of the non-primary companies associated with that contact.

Is there a way to build a report to do this? I know that I can build a report that shows all Contacts with a count of how many companies they’re associated with, but I can’t figure out a way to also pull in data from the company-level into the report when it’s multiple companies.

We currently do not have a ‘number of associated companies’ property for contacts to create a list or a report to display this information, and this has been requested by users here. To contribute, upvote the existing idea and share more details about your specific use case in the comments. I’ve given it an upvote as well for it to gain more traction so that our Product Team is made aware!

However, I did come across a user who worked around this using her own method: Pulling a report that shows all contacts with primary and secondary company associated.

If you have the right sub you can just create a calculation property: “number of associated companies” and then filter for this.

Hey @LChen5 ,

If you just need the Company ID then you should be able to do this with a simple export from the Contact record screen.

First go to ‘Edit Columns’ on the Contacts screen

Under Associations, you will see the option to add a column for Companies, and also a column for Companies by each association label that you have in HubSpot (the only association label in this particular account is Primary)

When you’ve added the columns (presumably all the Company associations besides Primary), you then just want to export the view

The export will contain the Company names and Record ID for each column/association label.
