I have set up our CRM linking some contatcts with their companies. I need to export a snail mail list that includes company address info. I have a bad feeling I should have just ignored the Company records and put all address data in the contact record. Hoping to be shown I’m wrong about that.
Hi @danasigall, you are correct, in order to export this information in a Contact export, it will need to be included in the contact record. You can export your company information seperately and re-import into your contacts database to populate this value, but you’d have to do a little bit of matching email addresses to the appropriate company information.
Hello, long time no response. But now the Season Greetings need to be sent out. How can I export a List, containing a contact wiht the company snailmail address?
When you create your list you can filter by “Companies Properties” - You will then get all the contacts that have an associated company with the requested properties. You can there export your list by following those steps.
I know it’s been a few years since the original post but: this is now possible in HubSpot – not sure if this was introduced quietly or if I simply missed it.
You can export contacts with associated company information.
To do so, create a list of the contacts that you want to export with their company information. (This solution does not work from a contact view, it has to be a list.)
As you can see this solution is one way: exporting contacts with associated company information (not: companies with associated contacts). However, with a bit of Excel magic, the export file can be transformed in such a way.
You’re fine keeping the address on the Company. Just create a list or export that includes the associated Company fields and HubSpot will pull them in. If you ever hit limits with the built-in export, something like Skyvia can join the two objects without changing your data model.
