I would love a feature to exclude certain contacts/email addresses from the send frequency cap for emails.
I personally want to receive all of our marketing emails as they go out (and we use a Slack notification system to show marketing emails in a channel for transparency within the company). But, because of the cap we set up, my email and the email address we create for this notification system will both be above the frequency cap and won’t receive all of the emails.
I could increase the cap or exclude certain email sends from the cap, but I want the cap to still apply to all of our marketing contacts.
agreed. I used this on another CRM when I worked for a company sending daily ad hoc emails. We had a daily send cap of one email, but ad hoc emails were ranked 2 while transactional and booking-related emails were ranked 1. So as long as everything was scheduled at least the day beforehand, subscribers would always receive their vital comms no matter what. Some emails could even be individually set to override the cap if they were super urgent.
I’d basically like to have the cap still apply across the account, but I’d like to be able to add an exception to the cap for certain internal email addresses.
Having a hierarchy system like @HeatherThompson mentioned would be nice too, but at a minimum, it would be nice to have exceptions to the cap
This is needed for our account too. We send a lot of emails to different segmented lists. However, the marketers (our own employees) that we work with want to recieve all of those emails. They’re the ones that hit the frequency cap more often since they get all emails for their market. So being able to supress a list (in this case the list would be all employees with our company email domain) would be perfect. That way employees can still get all emails, but our users/contacts can still adhere to the frequency cap limit.
