We’re using the Email Health tool to monitor our overall sending reputation, but we have a growing number of campaigns where open/click tracking is intentionally disabled due to legal and regulatory requirements in certain regions (France and Italy).
We notice these emails are treated as having extremely low engagement and appear to drag down our overall email health score, even though the behavior is expected and compliant and should be differentiated from any other issues.
Is it possible to adapt the Email Health tool so that it can:
Automatically recognize marketing emails where open/click tracking is disabled.
Exclude those sends from negatively impacting the overall Email Health score or at least filter them out of all Email Health views and recommendations.
Optionally provide a separate breakdown or label for “tracking-disabled” sends, so we still see volume but they’re not treated as low engagement.
This would make the Email Health score more accurate for customers who must disable tracking for privacy/regulatory reasons, and prevent compliant sends from looking like an engagement problem.
Hi @SBezus I’ve come across this issue too. Emails with tracking disabled can skew the health score because they’re effectively treated like low-engagement sends. It would be useful if HubSpot excluded those emails from the health calculation entirely, or at least provided a filter to separate them from genuinely underperforming campaigns.
That is a good point. If the tracking is indeed turned off, then these emails should not be evaluated solely based on open rates and clicks.
I suggest keeping them separate in the analysis and looking at other KPIs, such as Delivery Rate, Bounce Rate, and Unsubscribe Rate (if available).
But, as far as I know, there isn’t a native functionality for excluding these emails from the general calculation of Email Health. I would suggest contacting HubSpot Support with this request.
