Hi,

I want to import companies, contacts, deals, and activities into Hubspot. It seems Hubspot’s native functionality lacks the most basic importing features. As a result, we need a data migration tool/app. Many youtube videos show uploads using the Import2 wizard; however, our old CRM is not supported. Our data is in .csv/excel files. Does anyone have experience using Import2 to transfer data via .csv or excel? Would you recommend it? Are there any other tools/apps that you know of that are better than Import2?

Hi @SAArts,

Thanks for reaching out.

There don’t seem to be a lot of posts about import2 on the community.

However, I’d like to share some resources that might be a good starting point.

- [Import contacts, companies, deals, tickets, products, or notes](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/import-objects)
- [Set up your import files](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/set-up-your-import-file)

Take care!

Jess

Hi there!

As an alternative to Import2, you can use [Trujay’s automated migration tool.](https://app.trujay.com/migration/wizard/) It’s easy to use, intuitive, and has many options to offer. You can perform free sample migration right away. For more details, [contact the support team](https://trujay.com/contact-us/) or visit the [website.](https://trujay.com/)

All the best!

I only used import2 to export, but their help chat team was quite helpful. Suggest asking them.

I’ve used Import2 for Pipedrive to HubSpot, and it worked flawlessly (once I figured out how to use it effectively).

I understand the Import2 has a “sister” product [CSVLoader](https://csvloader.com/) which supposedly makes importing massive CSV files into HubSpot a bit easier (hearsay only I have yet to use the product).

If you’re not finding that Import2 has the support for your current system, [Coefficient on the HubSpot marketplace](https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/coefficient) offers a 2-way sync between HubSpot and Excel or Google Sheets. You’ll also find over 100 pre-built connectors you can import data into your spreadsheet from and if there isn’t a pre-built connector, there is a Connect Any API connector as well. [Here’s](https://coefficient.io/hubspot-data-management/how-to-upload-data-to-hubspot) a full walkthrough.
