# Exam is Impossible

A 12 hour wait to take a test again is too long. This is not a college course!

Thank you for reaching out to the academy community board! I’m happy to help out with this. HubSpot Academy certification exams typically have a mandatory 12-hour waiting period between attempts.

Reasons for this waiting period  
To encourage thorough review of course materials and identified weak areas after a failed attempt.  
To prevent users from simply guessing answers without proper understanding.
