Know what AI is great at (speed, recall, patterns).
Know what you are great at (empathy, perspective, values).
Combine them with intention.
Use the tool.
Review with a critical eye.
Add your human touch to make it authentic.
One moment that stood out: Damien told a story about receiving a networking email that looked polished but felt completely “robotic.” It was a reminder that if we don’t add our voice, AI can actually push people away instead of building trust.
His practical tip? Create a personal style guide for your AI, feed it your tone, values, and writing samples so what comes out feels like you, not just another generic draft.
