Yesterday, we brought together 3 AI builders and founders from the HubSpot community to share how they are using and building AI tools to maximize value, create efficiencies, and build stronger businesses. If you are a founder focusing on brand and marketing - or just an AI enthusiast, this session is for you. We recapped each presentation below, but if you want the full episode, check it out here. 1. Utilizing AI for Marketing Efficiency Key theme: using customized AI models can create marketing plans specific to your company in minutes Nico Lafakis showed us a way to optimize the creation of a marketing plan using two AI models, HubSpot Harry and a customized Claude model. - HubSpot Harry:Acts as the company’s representative, analyzing the brand’s voice and style by navigating through its website. Provides insights on brand messaging, content guidelines, and even creates sample taglines. - Customized Claude: Loaded with marketing resources like the HubSpot 2024 State of Marketing and Salesforce Ultimate Guides. Generates questions to understand the company’s campaign goals and objectives. - Collaborates with HubSpot Harry to develop a marketing campaign strategy, including themes, digital awareness, influencer partnerships, and community engagement initiatives. - The process involves back-and-forth communication between the AI models to refine the campaign strategy, identify KPIs, and generate content assets. - “garbage in, garbage out. If you hear somebody that says, model’s not really doing much for me, GPT can’t really do this, it’s not really that great. It’s because you didn’t give it enough context. And so you didn’t get a great output. Treat these models as if they are another human being and you are asking another person to do something for you, get information for you, or put something together for you,” 2. AI-Driven Brand Management Key Theme: a centralized and easily accessible brand ensures efficiency and consistency across a marketing organization - Jim Wrubel introduced Orchestra AI, a collection of AI agents designed to manage and synchronize brand information across various platforms (access the free brand importer tool here) - The tool imports brand assets (colors, fonts, logos) from a website and creates a brand book and press kit. - The tool generates JSON endpoints for integration with platforms like Zapier, enhancing automation and efficiency. - Emphasized the importance of having centralized and easily accessible brand information for efficient marketing operations. 3. AI in Personalized Marketing Key Theme: Personalized marketing is the future, and AI can make that faster at scale - Josh Blyskal discussed the impact of AI in marketing, particularly focusing on the importance of personalization - AI significantly enhances the shift from generic marketing to highly personalized experiences - the real value of AI in marketing lies in the speed and efficiency it brings to personalization efforts With AI, the focus should be on the time saved and the speed of execution rather than traditional KPIs - “We’re in the world of personalization and personalized experiences are now the standard. If you’re not doing personalized things, you always want to be driving towards personalized things.” What do you find the most interesting about AI applications in marketing? --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
