# error while enrolling new contact via API

I am getting the following error while enrolling a new contact to the workflow via API calls,

{  
“status”: “error”,  
“message”: “Unable to enroll contact that is enrolled in an unenrollment list”,  
“correlationId”: “cbe66e8d-579f-4820-8f14-d1b3f3e3ba44”,  
“type”: “SUPPRESSION\_LIST”  
}

Any help is appreciated.

Hi @sowlab ,

Does the workflow have any unenrollment triggers? If so, it could be that the contact is unenrolled and can not be enrolled again.

Hi @sowlab

_Does the workflow have any unenrollment triggers? If so, it could be that the contact is unenrolled and can not be enrolled again._

If you are facing the above case, then you need to set a parameter ‘ **allowContactToTriggerMultipleTimes** ’ to **true** in the actions array so if a contact gets unenrolled from the workflow because of a goal condition so this parameter will allow that contact to enroll again.
