I’ve read this question before on the platform, but nothing has worked on my end so far. I am trying to use a pre-designed theme and it’s giving me grief. My domain is all set to go, but every time I try to publish a navigational webpage or blog post, I get this message:

##### Error: One of your modules has incorrect information. Please make sure you’ve completed any required fields.

I can’t seem to find the modules it’s speaking about on any pages. If anyone has any ideas or solutions I’m all ears. I would greatly appreciate any help. My stomach is spinning in circles trying to solve an endless web crafting problem.

P.S. I’m new to Hubspot trying to switch from Squarespace, Wix, and Webflow and I’m on a free account.

Hi there,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the [HubSpot error message](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/9881-Operations-Hub/Error-message-on-website/m-p/712445) “One of your modules has incorrect information. Please make sure you’ve completed any required fields.” I’ve been using HubSpot for a few years now, and I’ve seen this error a few times. There are a few things you can try to troubleshoot this issue:

1. Check the required fields for the module. The error message specifically mentions that you need to “complete any required fields.” Go to the module settings and make sure that all of the required fields are filled in.
2. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. This can sometimes fix errors that are caused by temporary data stored in your browser.
3. Try publishing the page in a different browser. If you’re using Chrome, try publishing the page in Firefox or Safari.
4. Contact HubSpot support. If you’ve tried all of the above and you’re still getting the error, you can contact HubSpot support for help.
5. DevOps can help to identify the source of the error. By using tools like continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), DevOps team can automate the process of building, testing, and deploying software. This allows them to identify and fix bugs early on, which can help to prevent errors like the one you are experiencing.

I hope this helps!

Hi please disregard the previous message. I was tired and delirious from
problem solving all day. I wanted to say thank you very much for explaining
where to look and how to solve the problem. Your suggestions were perfect,
and right on point. The template I was using seems to have a bug. With
several failed attempts to create a beautiful sight out of their gorgeous
design, there was no success. But I chose to use a different template
called Thrifty, and although basic, it works beautifully, seamlessly, and
with no issues. I’m super grateful, and with your suggestions and comments
I feel a stronger connection community, and HubSpot in general. Thank you
so much I appreciate the time you took to write the message. Have a great
day.
